How to Reduce Image Size Without Losing Too Much Quality

If a photo is 4000 pixels wide but will appear at 1200 pixels on a website, resizing it first can remove unnecessary data. Use Pixora's resizer when you know the required dimensions.
2. Choose an efficient format
For many photographic images, WebP can provide a useful balance of size and quality. Keep PNG when transparency or graphic fidelity is important.
3. Compress and compare

4. Use a target size when necessary
If a form says an image must be below a certain KB limit, use the target-size field. It is a best-effort target because encoded file size depends on the image.
