About Pixora
Pixora is a browser-based toolkit for everyday image work, including resizing, compression and format conversion. The project is designed around a simple idea: people should be able to prepare an image for a website, form, document or social platform without installing a desktop application for a task that can often be completed directly in a modern browser.
What Pixora provides
The site combines general-purpose tools with focused workflows for common requirements such as JPG-to-PNG conversion, PNG-to-WebP conversion, target file sizes such as 100KB, and social-media image dimensions. The focused pages explain the trade-offs as well as providing the tool itself.
Convert
Change an image format and compare the resulting file before download.
Compress
Reduce file size using quality controls and best-effort target-size workflows.
Resize
Set exact dimensions or use presets for common publishing workflows.
Browser-first processing
Pixora's core image operations are designed to run locally in the browser. This approach can reduce the need to transfer the image itself to an image-processing server and can make the workflow quick for supported formats. Actual browser behavior varies by device and format, so Pixora shows the generated result for review before download.
How we approach content
Pixora's guides are written to explain practical decisions such as choosing a format, matching pixel dimensions to a destination and balancing compression with visual quality. We aim to keep tool pages useful even when a visitor is still deciding which workflow is appropriate.
Questions and feedback
If a tool behaves unexpectedly, a format is missing, or an explanation is unclear, contact the Pixora team through the contact page. Bug reports are most useful when they include the tool page, browser/device and a description of the expected and actual result.
